Kabul (BNA) At least 18 insurgents were killed and four others wounded during mopping-up operations led by Afghan National Army in three provinces of the country.
Press office of 205 Atal National Corps stated BNA, the operations were launched to eliminate armed oppositions in relevant areas of Shahwali Koot and Maiwand districts of Kandahar, Shajoe and Mezan districts of Zabul and Dehrawod district of Urozgan provinces.
Also amount of weapons, heavy ammunitions, military mobilizations and several rounds of anti-vehicle mines have been discovered and defused following the operations.
