President Karzai Strongly Condemns Terrorist Attack In Baghlan

Kabul (BNA) President Hamid Karzai strongly condemned the suicide attack on Baghlan provincial council that killed and injured a number of innocent people.
According to Baghlan governor’s office, a suicide bomber blew himself up this morning outside Baghlan provincial council leaving 13 people including head of the council Rasul Khan Mohsini dead and at  least 9 others injured.
President Karzai calls the attack on Baghlan provincial council a cowardly act against all Islamic teachings and human values, labeling its perpetrators as enemies of the people of Afghanistan who acted on orders by their foreign masters.
Calling the killings of innocent civilians anti-Islamic and inhuman, the president stressed that no such acts could force Afghans into giving up.
President Karzai said that these evil acts could never undermine the Afghans moral but further determines Afghans to defend their country and work for stability peace and progress in their lovely homeland. In the recent terrorist attacks in Baghlan, Kandahar and Kabul provinces, the president said, “Afghanistan is the land of sacrifices and devotions where our brave nation has never throughout the  history surrendered to any superpowers and will never do so in the future.”
President Karzai offers his deepest condolences and sympathies to the bereaved families and prays for quick recovery of the wounded.
