Kabul (BNA) Chaired by President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, National Security Council’s meeting was held the other day at Gul Khana Palace.
According to BNA report, in the meeting, report regarding works of Afghan Local Police (ALP), plan for amendment and improvement of the country’s prisons for coming four years and development in results of investigation the terrorist attack on Intercontinental Hotel were reviewed. After hearing the report regarding works of ALP, the country’s President while creating a single command in Afghan police stressed on strengthening of effective points. In connection with plan for amendment and improvement of the country’s prisons, the President instructed overall reforms in leadership of prisons and serious attention to rights and concessions of prisoners, stressing on observing laws and human rights in behaving with prisoners. The country’s President praised officials of security organs for development in arresting perpetrators of the incident, instructing that details of the reports should be shared with the people.
