US Invasion Harmed Afghan Future Generation

KABUL (BNA) The spokesperson of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs accused the United States of destroying the future of a generation in Afghanistan by conducting a senseless war.

Wang Wenbin said in a press conference on Friday that as a result of the 20-year war in Afghanistan, the country has turned into a ruin.
By conducting a senseless war in Afghanistan, America turned the country into a disaster and ruined the future of a generation.

Out of 174,000 people, the United States killed about 30,000 civilians in Afghanistan and displaced tens of millions more.

According to the statement of the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, the effects of the war caused millions of Afghans to die, about 3 million children were left out of school, and another 18.9 million faced severe food shortages.

He argued that the United States should accept responsibility for all these problems.

Wang Wenbin also said that Afghanistan is a living witness to the defeat of the US (democratic change) program.

The two decades of war in Afghanistan have cost the United States about 2 trillion dollars, about 2,400 American soldiers have been killed and about 20,000 other soldiers have been injured.

He warned that the international community should be very careful to prevent America’s malicious programs and demands in the name of democracy.
