Emergency Committee’s First Session Holds In Kabul Governor Office

Kabul (BNA) Presided over by Kabul governor Mohammad Yaqoub Haidari, the first-ever session of emergency committee was held at the Kabul governor office the other day, Bakhtar News Agency (BNA) reported.
Attended by international charity organizations’ heads and representatives, the meeting discussed aftermaths of natural disasters, destruction of farmlands in a number of Kabul districts due to floods as well as assisting the affected families, according to the agency.
Expressing concern over lack of on-time assistances by the relevant organizations to national disasters’ affected people, Kabul governor asked the national and international organizations to identify the affected people and families and deliver assistances to them on its due time, BNA added.
He asked the emergency committee members to be divided in groups and with technical experts identify the affected areas of Kabul districts and send their reports to the Kabul governor office during one month so necessary measures are taken to solve part of them in next session.
