Faizabad (BNA) The deputy of Taliban military commission for Kohistan, Raghistan and Yawan districts of Badakhshan was killed last night.
Badakhshan police spokesman Sanaullah Rouhani told BNA that Mawlavi Ataullah, known as “Ibrahim”, was killed when he and a group of his men attacked police checkpoints in Raghistan district.
He said a number of his men were also wounded in the clash, but no harm and casualties incurred to police.
