Saturday September 22, 2018

Kabul (BNA) A senior Russian official claimed that 2500 IS members from Syria and Iraq have entered Afghanistan via Pakistan.
BNA quoting international sources reports that Anatoly Sedriov the head of Massive Security Treaty Organization recently in news session said, that since the beginning of the current year more than 2500 IS members have transported to Afghanistan via Pakistan territory.
He said the main danger is this that terrorists consider Afghanistan as a base for spreading their influence and the ideas of so called Islamic Caliphate in central and south Asia.
Sedriov pointed out that Central Asia is the place for the security of the organization and this situation has caused more concerns.
He added the activities of terrorist groups affiliated to Islamic State are the main threat to the countries of the region.
Although this Russian official acknowledged that IS terrorists inter Afghanistan via Pakistan but Russia considers Pakistan a good friend in fight against terrorism.
It should be said that about two months ago Russian central intelligence issuing a report, informed about the way of transportation of IS members from Syria and Iraq in to Afghanistan via Karachi Pakistan. Also, the report talked about presence of foreign nationals who fight in Afghanistan alongside IS.
Recently the US foreign ministry once again said that Pakistan has not changed its policy regarding to terrorist groups.
There is no any difference between two terrorist groups (Taliban and IS). The Afghans believe the two groups separated just by name, while they both work for ensuring the Pakistan and some other countries interests. IS also supported by Pakistan.
