Kabul (BNA) Deputy to defense ministry, Enayatullah Nazari who is also the chairman of the commission for organizing Haftai Shaheed (Martyr Week) has said that roaming irresponsible vehicle caravans must be checked during the celebration of the week so as to control harassing citizens on the streets.
Addressing a joint press conference with Ahmad Wali Massoud the chairman of Shaheed Ahmad Shah Massoud Foundation and Simin Hassanzada, deputy information and culture minister on publication affairs here the other day said irresponsible roaming the caravans which disturb and harass people on streets should be prevented in the course of marking the “Martyr Week”.
The security commission under Ayoub Salangi would spare no efforts in observing the week in peaceful environment and it is expected that the Martyrdom Day of the National Hero, Ahmad Shah Massoud will be observed in a special ceremony on September 9.
Simin Hassanzada who is also the chairwoman of cultural committee of the commission in organizing Martyr Week stated at the press conference, “Safeguarding from the blood of the martyrs and remembering their ideas and thoughts can help overcome the current crisis.” She also called upon media outlets to revive the memories and objectives of the martyrs during the week, warning legal action would be taken against any media releases objects to create ethnic or religious problems.
