Kabul (BNA) During the cleansing operations of Afghan forces 17 armed Taliban killed in different parts of the country.
The interior ministry press office reported BNA, Afghan security forces carried out cleansing operations during the past 24 hours in relevant areas of Kandahar, Paktika, Paktia, Farah and Nemroz provinces as a result of which 17 armed Taliban killed and 8 others arrested.
In the operations amount of heavy and light weapons captured.
According to another report, national police forces discovered and defused nine anti-vehicle mines freshly planted from relevant areas of Kunar, Jawzjan and Paktika provinces.
