Kabul (BNA) the National Army forces carried out clearing operations in some provinces of the country, killed five insurgents arrested three and discovered a weapons depot.
The National Army with cooperation of National police and National Security forces carried out clearing operation in the relevant areas of Alinegar district of Laghman province in which two insurgents were killed one wounded and another one was arrested.
In another operation conducted by the National Army forces in Qarghai district of Laghman province 2 insurgents were arrested and a Kalashnikov was seized.
In an another operation carried out by the same forces in Shahwalikot district of Kandahar province, a weapons depot containing of rocket launchers, Kalashnikovs and 13 mines was discovered.
Meanwhile two insurgents in Sar-e-Rouza district of Paktika province and another insurgent in Alilshir district of Khost province have been killed in explosion of their own mines.
