Kabul (BNA) Following Afghan National Security Forces ANSF offensive and defensive operations in the country, 53 insurgents were killed.
Defense ministry press office reported BNA, ANSF for elimination of armed insurgents conducting cleansing operation in Nangarhar, Kandahar, Zabul, Farah, Helmand, Paktika, Sar-e-Pul, Ghor and Baghlan provinces killed 53 insurgents, wounded 20 and detained 3 others.
In the operations some weapons, ammunitions and military equipment were also seized.
According to another report, during the operations ten National Army soldiers were martyred.
