Weapons Smuggle Curb to Pakistan

JALALABAD (BNA) Nangarhar intelligence office claims their security forces have prevented the smuggling of hundreds of light and heavy weapons from the country to Pakistan.

The weapons were reportedly recovered during smuggling in three police steps surveillance from Jalalabad, Mohmand Dara district, and Torkham crossing the border.

Dr. Bashir, Nangarhar’s intelligence director, told BNA that four people had been arrested in connection with the failed arms smuggling.

Dozens of light and heavy weapons have been seized by security forces from the detainees.
