Ghazni (BNA) Gun-battle between security forces and the armed Taliban fighters in Ander district of Ghazni province left five insurgents dead and two other injured last night.
Brigadier Khair Mohammad Barez the commander of 3rd battalion of 203 Corps said, in the operation involving national army and the coalition forces, three more insurgents including an Arab were arrested, he said.
He also contended that nine Kalashnikovs and 12 rocket-propelled grenades were also seized, while no civilians and security forces were harmed.
