Kabul (BNA) Three military personnel were martyred in northern Faryab province the night before last.
Abdul Karim Yurush spokesman of Faryab police chief told BNA reporter, the military personnel (two personnel of Faryab’s NDS and an officer of Faryab’s police chief) gunned down by unidentified gunmen in first precinct of Maimana city the provincial capital of the province.
Police started searching to identify and capture the perpetrators of the incident, Yurush added.
Meanwhile, a military officer was martyred in Nansi district, northeastern Badakhshan province.
Sanaullah Rouhani spokesman of Badakhshan police chief told BNA correspondent, the military officer was martyred and two others were wounded after a missile that fired by Taliban fighters hit on Nansi district of the province.
