WFP Distributes Foodstuffs to 2114 Destitute Families in E. Nooristan

Kabul (BNA) The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) distributed foodstuffs to 2114 poor and destitute families in eastern Nooristan province.
Eastern in-charge of WPF in Nooristan told BNA correspondent, the distributed foodstuffs include, flour, cooking ghee, salt, pulses, malnutrition substances for children and special food for pregnant women.
Each of 2114 families have received 75kg flour, 6.83liter cooking ghee, 9.38kg pea, salt, malnutrition substances for children and special food for pregnant women in Paroon city the provincial capital of the province, he added.
It is mentionable, the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) will be distributed foodstuffs to 5686 needy and affected-families in Wama, Waigal, Kamdish and BarakMatal districts and Paroon city of the province in near future, eastern in-charge of WFP further added.
