Kabul (BNA) At least 16 armed rebels were killed and two others were wounded following operation led by Afghan security forces in Kandahar-Urozgan highway yesterday.
The operation was launched by 205 Atal army crops personnel with cooperation of other Afghan security forces to reopen Kandahar-Urozgan highway on traffic and the operation ongoing.
Also a vehicle type of corolla, four motorcycles, some heavy and light weapons and some ammunitions belong to armed oppositions have been destroyed during the operation.
