Work Construction of 20 Public Benefit Projects Start in Bamyan

BAMYAN (BNA) work construction and rehabilitation of twenty public benefit projects starte in Bamyan on Tuesday.

The provincial head of Rural Rehabilitation and Development Mullah Ziaullah Khadim, told BNA that the projects include 10 irrigation canals and 10 culverts, which are implemented in cooperation with national and international organizations in the center and districts of Bamyan province.

These projects funded in cooperation with United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

Meanwhile, the World Food Programme (WFP) and Agriculture Organization started the process of distributing seed wheat and chemical fertilizers to thousands of farmers in Kunduz says another report.

50kg of modified wheat, 50kg of urea fertilizer and 50kg of DEP fertilizer were distributed to each farmer in the district of Aliabad in Kunduz province.

Lately, the United Nations had vowed to supports millions of farmers in Afghanistan in various sectors.
