ZABUL (BNA) The Public health department officials in Zabul province said that people of 56 regions in the capital and district of the province have no access to health services.
The provincial public healthcare department’s director, Dr. Mirwais Afghan told Bakhtar News Agency that 10 healthcare centers would be built to address shortage of health services in these areas.
The establishment of these centers would be funded by a private organization, he said.
Efforts regarding expansion of health services in Zabul have accelerated as the beds in provincial civil hospital has increased from 150 to 250 beds, he concluded.
