Kabul (BNA) National defense ministry reported from killing of 216 armed oppositions during clearing operations of ANA forces across the country.
According to defense ministry press office to BNA, the ANA forces conducting the operations in outskirts of Kunar, Laghman, Kapisa, Maidan-Wardak, Ghazni, Paktia, Urozgan, Daikudni, Kandahar, Takhar and Kunduz provinces killed 216 armed insurgents, wounded 142 and arrested two others.
2 rocket launchers, 10 motorcycles, a dahshaka shells were seized by ANA forces and 120 rounds of mines have been discovered and defused in the operations.
Likewise, national defense ministry confirmed that 12 ANA soldiers have been martyred as a result of firing heavy weapons by armed insurgents.
