MAIMANA CITY (BNA) Shadow district governor of Taliban for Garziwan district, northern Faryab province was killed during clashes with Afghan security forces.
Spokesman of 209 Shaheen army corps told BNA correspondent, Qari Wakel so-called district governor of Taliban for Garziwan along with his two colleagues were killed during clashes with Afghan security forces in Haidar Khana region, Garziwan district.
Three more insurgents were wounded during the clashes.
Also, Taliban group have sustained heavy losses while Afghan security forces targeted their hideout in Garziwan district, but the exact number is not clear yet.
