Kabul (BNA) National Directorate of Security NDS in a statement released yesterday said consultative Loya Jirga was under security threats in regional level, saying recent stance of Pakistan Jamat-e-Islami was a good example related to the Jirga. NDS personnel in a joint operation with ANA and ANP discovered and seized around 10 missiles (Sakar 40) in Wacha Gharai area of Khak-e-Jabar district of Kabul province.
The missiles had been placed in Ella Joy Mountain of the district for firing towards presidential palace, MoD and Kabul International Airport during days of Loya Jirga. Abdul Aleem known as Dr. Alam, so-called district governor of Taliban in Khak-e-Jabar and organizer of terrorist attack was arrested along with the missiles in the district.
