Asadabad City (BNA) About 11 fighters of Islamic State for Iraq and Syria (ISIS) were killed and 6 others were wounded during clashes with Afghan security forces in eastern Kunar province last night.
The clashes took place, while Afghan National Army troops stormed on ISIS’s hideout in vicinity of Wattapor district of Kunar province.
Commander of Afghan National Army in the east of the country told BNA reporter, at least 11 ISIS adherents were killed and 6 others were injured following the conflicts.
The ISIS militants were involved on organizing a series of terrorist activities, which targeted and killed by Afghan security forces, the source added.
