Kabul (BNA) US ambassador to Afghanistan James Cunningham called on the second vice president Mohammad Karim Khalili yesterday. According to presidential press office to BNA, in the meeting the ambassador besides stressing for enhancing cooperation between his country and Afghanistan expressed satisfaction over agreement on formation of national unity government. The ambassador said that the US would continue to stand alongside Afghans and would support the next government of Afghanistan. In his remarks, Khalili expressed thank to the people and US government over their support to Afghanistan over the past decade. The second vice president besides hoping for further enhancing relations between Kabul and Washington hoped the new government would led to further peace, unity and stability in Afghanistan.
