Herat (BNA) An explosion in Herat martyred two police officers and wounded three others.
The explosion occurred on police vehicle in Herat-Islam Qala highway as they were escorting a fire brigade to Islam Qala customs.
Herat security official told BNA that two policemen were martyred and three others were injured in the blast.
He said that the investigation team of Islam Qala customs fire was not damaged in the incident.
The broadcast images of this event show that in this explosion, the vehicle of the officers were completely destroyed.
No group or individual has claimed responsibility for the blast, but security sources have blamed Taliban for the blast.
