Maidan-Shaher (BNA) Taliban attack on several military checkpoints in Sayed Abad district of Maidan Wardak failed.
Twelve assailants, including their two commanders were killed and nine others wounded in the attack.
The Taliban attacked several checkpoints in Sayed Abad district this morning, targeting by air and ground raid of security forces.
Thunder Corps said in a statement that twelve Taliban insurgents killed and nine others wounded.
The corps said the other attackers fled and dozens of their weapons remained on the battlefield.
