Kabul (BNA) Mohammad Dawood Laghmani was introduced as new governor of northern Faryab province today.
According BNA report, Independent Directorate of Local Governance by releasing a statement issue that based on president Ghani’s decree, Mohammad Dawood Laghmani assumed office as the new governor of Faryab province.
Sebghatullah deputy for Independent Directorate of Local Governance, military and local officials of Faryab province were present during the ceremony.
Meanwhile, hundreds of residents staged demonstration to protest President Ghani’s decision for appointing of Mohammad Dawood Laghmani as the new governor.
