Fifteen Armed Insurgents Killed In Faryab Operation

Maimana (BNA) Fifteen armed insurgents were killed in an operation carried out by Afghan security forces in Faryab province yesterday.
In the operation, 8 insurgents wounded and several mines discovered and defused.
Mohammad Reza Rezai in charge of Shaheen 209 army crops said BNA, the operation launched by Afghan security forces in the outskirts of Maimana city, killed 15 insurgents, wounded 8 and discovered several mines.
According to him, some villages of Maimana city were cleared from existing of insurgents in the operation.
Is should be said, two policemen were wounded in the operation.
According to another report, six armed Taliban including two commanders of them killed in Faryab province.
Mohammad Reza Rezai spokesman of Shaheen 209 army crops said BNA, a clash occurred between Taliban and security forces in Shakh bazaar of Qaisar district, in which six armed Taliban were killed.
The source said, Mullah Saduddin and Mullah Bari two commanders of Taliban were among the dead.
According to Rezai, in this clash, two national army soldiers were also martyred and two others wounded.
