Kabul (BNA) Fifty-five armed insurgents were killed in the last 24 hours in different parts of the country.
The insurgents were killed in a series operations conducted by national army forces in Herat, Paktia, Helmand and Ghazni provinces.
BNA quoting national defense ministry, in these operations, 55 armed insurgents were killed, a number of them wounded and 23 heavy and light weapons, 6 sets of communication and a motorcycle were seized from them.
Also, the national army forces succeeded to discover and seized 29 mines in the operations.
Likewise, 4 national army forces were also martyred in a roadside mine in the operations. T. Suraya-Yarzada
