Faizabad (BNA) Two women were killed and dozens houses were destroyed in Jorm district, Badakhshan due to floods.
Security official in Jurm district, Badakhshan told BNA that two women were killed and 50 houses were destroyed in floods in two villages in the district.
He said hundreds acres of farmland were destroyed and five vehicles disappeared in the incidents.
Local officials in Badakhshan say that all preparations have been made to respond to the victims of the natural disasters, and that assistance will be provided to the district as traffic is opened.
