Herat (BNA) Twelve people have died in floods in Adraskan district of Herat since last night.
BNA quoted local officials in Herat as saying that 12 people have been killed in floods in Rokha village, Adraskan district of the province.
Among the dead were children and women.
It is said that in these floods, financial damage has been inflicted on the local residents, the exact figure of which will be provided later.
A delegation from Herat Disaster Management Authority has been sent to the area to identify and assist the victims.
There are also reports from Herat’s Oba district where 12 children went missing in floods yesterday and hundreds of livestock were lost.
