FM Muttaqi: calls for resolution in the process of issuing Turkish visas to Afghanistan’s citizens

Kabul (BNA) Acting Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi met with Kerem Kinik, head of Turkish Red Crescent and Vice President of international Federation.

According to BNA, In the meeting, Acting Foreign Minister called for facilitating the process of issuing Turkish visas to Afghanistan’s citizens. Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi said “Afghanistan’s migrants, businessmen and patients are struggling to obtain Turkish visas, and expressed hope that the Turkish government would provide visa facilitation for Afghanistan’s citizens.

The Acting Foreign Minister said “the Islamic Emirate is ready to provide investment conditions for Turkish businessmen in Afghanistan to pave the way for joint-cooperation between the two countries.

During the meeting, the head of Turkish Red Crescent assured the cooperation of the Turkish government with the government and people of Afghanistan.

Dr.Kerem Kinik, the head of Turkish Red Crescent, is on a three-day visit to Kabul to discuss bilateral cooperation and the distribution of humanitarian aid with Afghanistan’s government officials. At a news conference today in Kabul this morning, he called on the international community to assist and cooperate with Afghanistan’s people in the current state of severe economic collapse.
