Kabul (BNA) Arshad Ahmadi the deputy minister for foreign affairs ministry met his counterpart Ms. Peter Warges Australian deputy foreign minister here yesterday, BNA reported.
During the meeting they discussed mutual interested issues including security transition from NATO led troops to Afghan national security forces, upcoming presidential elections and bilateral relations between the two countries.
Both sides also welcomed the decision of Afghanistan national Security Council over extension of the mission of 13 Australian military trainers to train Afghan security forces.
The Australian diplomat assured his country would continue to support Afghanistan in the fields of insuring peace, security and reconstruction.
