Lashkargah (BNA) Forty-five Taliban were killed in Helmand, security officials said yesterday.
A spokesman for 215th Maiwand Corps told BNA that the Taliban had been killed in operations by defense and security forces in different parts of Lashkargah city and Nahrsaraj district of the province.
Twenty-two other insurgents were wounded during the operation, and five of their vehicles were destroyed with large quantities of weapons, the source added.
