Forty-Two Prisoners Released from Taliban Jail in Baghlan

Pul-e-Khomri (BNA) Commando forces released 42 prisoners from an armed Taliban prison in Baghlan last night.

The press office of 207 Pamir Corps told BNA that the men were released from a Taliban prison in Ali Khaja village, Baghlan district of central Baghlan province during an operation by members of a special commando forces.

Nothing has been said yet about the identities of those released.

But the released are said to be 25 military and 17 civilians.
