Tarinkot City (BNA) A group of 8 Taliban rebels put down their hand weapons and joined peace process in eastern Urozgan province.
The terrorists were involved on destructive and terrorist activities in various parts of the province.
Security official in police headquarter of Urozgan said BNA reporter, the militants have joined peace process this morning.
The joined insurgents also submitted their hand weapons to Afghan security personnel, the source added.
After that we trying to take active role in reconstruction and ensuring peace and stability of our country, the rebels said.
