Lashkargah (BNA) A Helmand police academy professor has been shot dead by unknown gunmen.
Ostad Wali Mohammad police academy professor of Helmand was targeted by motorcycle attackers in the city center of Helmand this morning.
Helmand security official in contact with BNA, confirmed the assassination of the police academy professor.
He said the attackers had fled and efforts were underway to identify and detain them.
No group or individual has claimed responsibility for the assassination, but local sources blamed Taliban for the assassination.
