Kunduz (BNA) The highway in Imam Sahib District of Kunduz was cleared from Taliban militants.
Abdul Hadi Nazari, spokesman for 217th Pamir Corps, told BNA that during the operation, in addition to clearing the highway in Imam Sahib District of Kunduz, security and defense forces with the help of local people rebuilt a bridge which previously destroyed by Taliban.
He added that the armed Taliban has launched attacks on defense and security checkpoints in Imam Sahib District of Kunduz for several days, with the arrival of special units of the army and the start of ground and air operations, a large number of Taliban members were killed.
