Hospital Opened In Most Remote Parts of Nangarhar

Jalalabad (BNA) A 30-bed hospital has opened in Pachiragam district of Nangarhar, in one of the remote areas of eastern province.

The hospital has internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics and obstetrics departments and can respond to dozens of patients daily.

Germany has spent 35 million Afghanis to build this hospital.

An official from Nangarhar Public Health Department told BNA that the hospital has equipped with medical equipment.

Meanwhile, most patients in Pachiragam travel to Jalalabad, Kabul and even abroad for treatment due to lack of access to proper health services.
