Hundreds Acres of Land in Badakhshan Protected from Flood Danger

Faizabad (BNA) Hundreds acres of land were saved from flooding by building a retaining wall in Argui district of Badakhshan.

Engineer Farid Ahmad Nikpour, director of the Badakhshan Disaster Management Dept., told BNA that the 200-meter-long retaining wall was built in Samadi village at a cost of more than 3 million Afghanis.

He said that by building this wall, hundreds acres of agricultural land have been saved from the danger of floods.
