Herat (BNA) Officials reported efforts to implement hundreds of development projects in Herat.
These projects include the construction of roads, bridges, canals, water supply and power generation networks, retaining walls, transportation routes, and programs to educate farmers.
Farid Azam, director of Herat Rural Rehabilitation and Development, told BNA that 435 development projects are under construction in the city and districts of Herat.
Two hundred and sixty-three development projects have been commissioned in Herat in the past year.
Utilization of these projects is expected to lead to solving environmental challenges and economic prosperity of citizens.
