Hundreds Families Returned Homes in Badahkhsan

Faizabad (BNA) In the past two days, nearly 600 families stranded on the border between Tajikistan and Badakhshan in Afghanistan have returned home.

Mawlavi Amanuddin Mansour, the governor of Badakhshan, said the families, which included children and women, had fled their homes due to the enemy’s propaganda.

Moezuddin Ahmadi, head of Badakhshan Information and Culture Department, said the families were encouraged and welcomed by the governor of Badakhshan and received some cash assistance.

He says they are optimistic about returning home and can continue to live an eyebrow-raising life with their compatriots.
