Sheberghan (BNA) Jawzjan Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock office distributed foodstuffs to 1,250 needy families with the financial support of Wilat Hungerhalife Institution.
A source in the Jawzjan department of Agriculture told BNA, the aids included 3 bags of flour, rice, 10 liters of cooking oil, 28kg of beans, 10kg of sugar, 2kg of salt and a medical package.
According to the source, the food, which is supposed to be enough for three months, has been distributed in 12 villages of Jawzjan province.
The source state the aim of distributing foodstuffs to needy families is to recover a part of their daily financial expense.
