KABUL(BNA) Da Afghanistan Bank says the 18th package of humanitarian cash (USD) has delivered to the country.
Da Afghanistan Bank of said in a press release this afternoon that $32 million in cash had been transferred to Afghanistan through a series of international humanitarian aid and handed to the International Bank of Afghanistan (AIB).
Expressing gratitude for the international humanitarian assistance, Da aAfghanistan Bank called on countries around the world to cooperate with Afghanistan in providing the necessary banking facilities.
Its mentionable that the UN Office in coordination with Da Afghanistan Bank, in order to prevent the lack of liquidity in the markets of the country, has started the process of assistance and transfer of cash dollars for several months.
Earlier, the bank officials met with representatives of international aid agencies and said that all humanitarian aid needed to be transferred to Afghanistan through the banking system.
