Kabul (BNA) The International Teacher’s Day observed here in Kabul the other day.
In a function held in Ariana Lycee, where Mohammad Wahid Nuri the head of international department and cultural affairs of the ministry for education in his speech highlighted the role of teacher in developing the society, noting, it is teacher who teaches human being, takes society towards progress and respectful life.
The administrator of Ariana Lycee also spoke on the occasion, saying it is teacher who teaches humanity to man. The day has been observed in other schools in Kabul and other cities across the country.
The minister for higher education Dr. Abidullah Obid in his message congratulated the day, saying the teachers deserve all goodness and prosperity.
