Khost (BNA) With the construction of an irrigation canal, hundreds acres of farmland were supplied with water.
This canal, three hundred and eighty meters long, transports spring water to the fields.
The Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD) says in a press release that it spent 2,100, 000 Afghanis to build the canal under the Citizenship Pact program.
With the construction of this canal, more than three hundred acres of farmers’ fields in the area of Seyed Hanan Shahrkhoost were irrigated.
The farmers are happy with the construction of this canal and say that having enough water will make their cultivation prosperous.
