Kabul (BNA) With the construction of an irrigation canal in Daimirdad district of Maidan-Shaher, 100 acres of water was provided in that district.
Engineer Saaduddin, head of Maidan Wardak Rural Development Department, told BNA that the 180-meter-long irrigation canal in Sadukhail village of Daimirdad district was built at a cost of 11 million Afghanis from the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and development budget.
He said the irrigation canal would help provide about 100 acres of land and prevent water loss in the district.
