Kabul (BNA) The construction of 565 meters of irrigation canal worth 1.7 million Afghanis was completed and put into operation by the National Rural Citizenship Pact for Rehabilitation and Development in the Kondarkhail Rosenkhel villages, Sayed Karam district of Paktia province.
During the construction of this canal, which irrigates 380 acres of agricultural land, 2346 working days were created and after its completion, 187 families have benefited from it.
It is worth mentioning that the Citizenship Covenant program implements 86 water supply, electricity, sub-roads and irrigation projects in Sayed Karam district, including the completion of a number of projects and a number of which are nearing completion.
