Jalalabad (BNA) Eight ISIS and Taliban affiliates have been arrested in recent clashes of Afghan security forces in Nangarhar province.
The clashes occurred in parts of Achen and Ghanikhail districts last night and this morning.
Senior commander of ANA in east of the country told BNA, eight ISIS and Taliban affiliates were killed in the clashes.
Most of the insurgents were targeted on their strongholds, he added.
Another report says that, police of Nangahrar province discovered and confiscated eight mines from busy roads of the province and prevented from deadly events.
Security officials of the province blamed Taliban for failed mine planting.
