Kabul Blast Leaves 21 Dead, 53 Injured

President Ghani Flays The Attack

Kabul (BNA) A heavy explosion rocked Kabul earlier yesterday afternoon targeting the Afghan Supreme Court Compound, Bakhtar News Agency (BNA)  reported.
According to the agency, the incident took place between the entrance and the parking of the court compound, as a result of which, 21 people were reportedly killed and 53 wounded.
No group has claimed responsibility of the incident so far.  Condemning the attack in the strongest terms, Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan called the attack an anti-human and unforgiveable crime, adding the enemies have once again proved their hostility with the people of Afghanistan, his office said in a statement.
Expressing sympathy with the incident’s martyrs’ families, the president prayed for the departed souls and wished immediate recovery to those injured, the statement added.
