Aibak (BNA) Samangan police arrested a key member of the Pakistani Taliban in the province yesterday.
Abdul Munir Rahimi, spokesman for the Samangan police chief told BNA, officials of that command arrested this important member of the Pakistani Taliban from Firuzankhchir area of Samangan while crossing the Samangan-Balkh highway.
He added that the Pakistani member of the Taliban was traveling to Balkh to carry out terrorist activities using a fake immigration card.
